Meet the Team
Chameleon has the most amazing team of dedicated staff with experience second to none in bridal wear. We all come from completely different backgrounds and each have our own style but we all share the same passion to help women to look and feel their best.
We are all passionate about our brides and love helping you find your perfect dress, as well as giving you an experience to remember. We are real women, with real life experiences, and we love meeting new brides.
Anneliese is the owner of Chameleon. She bought the business in 2016 when she decided that she wanted to be in a more ‘happy’ industry. She also works as a lawyer and so is a busy girl. She is obsessed with shopping – and in particular shoes (don’t ask how many she owns!) Anneliese is super passionate about Chameleon and is always looking for ways to improve our brides’ experience. She is a perfectionist and can often be found wandering round the boutique tucking trains neatly under and spacing dresses out evenly. Everything always has to look pretty!
She is always on the look out for new exciting designers and spends far too much on instagram!
You’ll often find Anneliese in her office as she deals with all the paperwork, website and social media. However she just adores it when she gets the chance to meet brides and help them find their dream dresses.
She also sits on the Retail Bridalwear Association as Secretary.
Sophie is the Manager of Chameleon. She is lively, energetic and extremely enthusiastic. She absolutely loves her job and it shows everyday. She is Anneliese’s wing woman and is the one that control’s the purse strings when we’re out buying new collections.
She says: “I’ve been in retail since I was 16 so customer service is a big part of me. I love meeting new brides and finding out about their plans for their big day. Bridal is so rewarding, to be able to work in an environment where everyone is buzzing and excited about their big day and knowing that you are part of their journey is amazing. From ordering her dress, to her alterations and seeing her in her dress for the final time before the wedding!!
Most girls come to see us with an idea of their style and we are here to guide and steer them in the right direction to find their dream dress. My advice would be to be open minded as many dresses look so different when styled on a bride. That moment when you accessorise the dress and the happy tears flow because they have found the one is magical and full of emotion. For the bride and for us!!”
From the moment you meet Sophie you will feel like you have known her for years and she’ll be as excited about your wedding as you are.
Mo has been with Chameleon since 2001. She often jokes that she is part of the furniture. Mo is glam, the epitome of sophistication and is never seen without immaculate hair and makeup. She is something of a mother figure to all our brides.
She loves a winter wedding so if you’re having one, she’ll be keen to show you our range of furry wraps and jackets.
Mo’s tip for any bride is that nowadays you can buy anything online. But what you cannot buy online is the experience of finding your wedding dress in our boutique. You can’t feel the fabrics, have the excitement of trying on different shapes and styles. Playing with different accessories and wildcard dresses that you never thought you’d love, but do! You cannot buy a personal experience of finding your dream dress surrounded by people you love and that emotion when you find ‘the one’.
Mo is warm and calming and makes our brides feel super relaxed. But she get’s so excited when you find the one, you’ll most likely be enveloped in an excited mumma bear hug!
Caroline is one of our seamstresses. She has over 25 years of experience in Design, Manufacturing and bespoke fittings and alterations. She has an artistic flair having studied art and textiles at university. She even used to work designing and making bridesmaid dresses for a large UK based company.
Caroline has been a part of Chameleon since 2002 and is an integral part of the time. She has had years to hone and refine her skills in bridal and occasionwear alterations. If anyone can do it – Caroline can!
She oozes patience and care. She is the calm, unflappable one and the voice of reason. She is amazing at supporting our brides during the fittings process and will hold their hand every step of the way. She has a keen eye for detail and is the creative one who often is the one who implements our ideas for the window displays.
Rosanna is our second seamstress. She has a wealth of sewing experience and is particularly skilled at occasionwear as well as bridal wear.
Chameleon is lucky enough to have had her working with us for over 10 years ensuring that our brides and mum’s dresses fit to perfection. Rosanna’s family is Sicilian and she has a real Italian flair (and yes her hair is always perfect!). She even was lucky enough to live there for a while and was awarded a diploma in pattern cutting and sewing.
Rosanna is calm and measured. She is passionate about what she does, is meticulous and super observant. You are in very safe hands.
Caroline is our newest addition to the team. Her daughter is getting married and she’s fallen in love with all things wedding. Caroline says:
“I am delighted to be part of the Chameleon family. Coming to work and being surrounded by the most beautiful gowns imaginable and simply stunning mother of the bride outfits feels like a privilege. It is what makes this job so special. I have many years of customer focused experience and absolutely love meeting and greeting people. To be able to welcome, assist and help our mums and brides find their perfect dress is so exciting“.
She’s like a sponge – absorbing all things wedding and bridal. You’ll be bowled over about her enthusiasm and energy for pleasing brides and mums.
